We offer two educational options to students in the government management and nonprofit fields: a Master of Public Administration degree with an empahsis in Government Management and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management.
MPA with a Government Management Emphasis
You will begin your master’s degree program covering the general skills needed to succeed in the field of public administration, including examining legal, political, and regulatory controls and exploring qualitative and quantitative approaches to decision making. You’ll review the impact of the economic environment on business and learn to understand organizational behavior. Your degree will qualify you to work in all types of governmental organizations – from the local to the national level.

MPA with a Nonprofit Management Emphasis
With this track, you’ll cover the fundamentals of directing the services of many different types of nonprofit organizations. Our curriculum combines theory and practice to provide you with the knowledge and leadership skills to succeed in this dynamic field, as well as a general understanding of business and economic theories. You’ll receive the qualifications to succeed in a wide vaiety of nonprofit organizations, from charities to foundations to special interest groups.
